Autumn in Perth brings cooler evenings, longer nights, and a citywide run of stand-up, satire and everything in between. From April 20 to May 17, the Perth Comedy Festival will take over five of the city’s landmark venues with four weeks of live comedy.

The program spans the Astor Theatre, Perth Convention and Exhibition Centre, Regal Theatre, State Theatre Centre of Western Australia, and The Rechabite, bringing together international comics, local favourites, and emerging acts across stand-up, alternative comedy, and late-night shows. The festival’s signature gala – traditionally one of its most anticipated nights – also returns to the line-up.

To mark the occasion, Broadsheet is offering readers the chance to experience the festival with a trip for two to Perth. The prize includes return flights via a Flight Centre gift voucher worth $1500, plus a two-night stay at The Adnate Perth, the Art Series CBD hotel known for its large-scale street art murals.

The winner will also receive a double pass to the festival’s gala at the Regal Theatre on April 29, along with a $300 restaurant gift card to use at one of Broadsheet’s recommended dining spots while in town.

Entries are open from March 23 to April 9. To enter, simply tell us – in 25 words or less – which show, act or comedian you’re most excited to see and why.
