Win: The Ultimate Sydney Comedy Festival Getaway
Words by Broadsheet Editors · Updated on 20 Mar 2026 · Published on 20 Mar 2026
Broadsheet and Sydney Comedy Festival have joined forces to give away a fully kitted festival getaway. The lucky winner – and their plus one – will bag flights, two nights’ accommodation, comedy tickets and dinner for two.
Running from April 13 to May 17, Sydney Comedy Festival has grown from small beginnings into one of Australia’s most expansive live entertainment events, bringing comedy to venues across the city – from the Sydney Opera House to local theatres and club rooms. Hundreds of comedians from around the world and across the country converge in the Emerald City to deliver everything from stand-up and satire to improvised, musical and absurdist shows.
The prize includes two tickets to the Sydney Comedy Festival Gala 2026 at the Opera House, featuring some of the hottest Australian and international acts across the whole festival, all in one show. You’ll also win two tickets to catch the UK’s self-styled “siren from South Yorkshire” Myra Dubois as she sings, talks, dances and cracks up the entire Darling Quarter Theatre.
Other highlights this year include Australian exclusive shows for Tiffany Haddish and Richard Gadd (Baby Reindeer), international names such as Scottish stand-up Daniel Sloss, Irish comics David O’Doherty and Kyla Cobbler, and local faves like Celia Pacquola, Pete Helliar, Neel Kolhatkar, Ivan Aristeguieta and Effie.
The competition kicks off on March 20. Simply tell us – in 25 words or less – which show, act or comedian you’re most excited to see and why. This’ll put you in the running to win the above tickets to Sydney Comedy Festival shows, as well as luxury accommodation for two nights at QT Sydney from April 20 to 22, a Flight Centre voucher, and a restaurant voucher for a Broadsheet Hot Listed venue.
Enter by April 2 for your chance to win.
