No. 100 Flinders Lane is a Lebanese wine bar by Code Black Coffee founder Joseph Haddad. Though cafes are his wheelhouse, No. 100 is predominantly a restaurant serving contemporary Lebanese cuisine and Lebanese wines.

The We Are Humble-designed restaurant is a two-part operation. At the front is the deli housing a large, round booth and a few bar seats. While around the corner is a moody, wood-panelled dining room big enough for 20 people. Sheer white curtains shield diners from onlookers, offering a quiet respite from the bustle of Flinders Lane.

The menu takes influence from Lebanese cuisine through a local lens. Kingfish is cured and served with pockets of toum and sumac-spiked shallots, while the house-made hummus comes with cashews swimming in spiced burnt butter.

As for drinks, the menu centres around Lebanese wines and indigenous grape varieties, including the light-skinned merwah. The cocktail list includes the Martini 100, made with eucalypt, vermouth and South Australian Never Never gin; and the Beirut Not To, a pink Spritz with arak, pomegranate, sumac and prosecco. Meanwhile, if you need a post-meal pick-me-up, the coffee machine stays on until close.
